YOUR TEAM COORDINATOR

Jon Golding
Locations: United Kingdom and Caribbean

Jon has been advising entrepreneurs, global families and
business owners in the UK and abroad for most of his career.
He differs from most other advisors by helping clients deal
with their liabilities as well as their assets.  He also advises
on protection from ID theft and on recovering lost assets
through investment scams. Nowadays he advises banks and
financial institutions on gaining and retaining clients through
effective marketing and business systems.

From 1975-1979 he was Regional Manager for the Qatari
private
investment bank owned by members of the ruling
Al-Thani family with clients in the Middle East, Africa, India
and Far East.  He then became CEO of a fee-based wealth
management & business consultancy in London for over
20 years with offices in Jersey, Channel Islands;
Altanta,
Georgia and New Delhi, India. From 2002 - 2005 he develo-
ped the Wealth Management division for RBTT Financial
Group,
the largest financial conglomerate in the Caribbean
(now part
of the Royal Bank of Canada Group).

In 2006 he formed Golding Consulting Limited in Trinidad with
a select group of professionals he had worked with before.

His own portfolio was advising banks, insurance companies
and asset mana
gers on developing their wealth management
businesses. He also advised SMEs how to deal with financial
problems and their sources of credit during economic crisises.

In 2008 he founded the Caribbean Financial Planning Assoc-
iation, a non-profit professional body with a mission to help
Caribbean people become financially self-sufficient; by educ-
ating their professional advisors to advise and coach, not sell
to them.

In 2010 Golding Consulting established a London presence to
respond to the situation in the UK where SMEs were experienc-
ing problems with bank finance and creditor pressure
.

NOTE: This website is not aimed at the aforementioned financial
institutions which work strictly on a referral basis.  It is focused
on the global entrepreneur and the expatriate professional, a niche
market underserved by the local institutions who are not geared
up for such specialsed advice and services.  Enquiries are passed
to our team of Consultants who offer a confidential email explor-
atory service after which a fee-engagement can be agreed for
specific advice, reports and services.
