Michael in a native-born Bahamian who spent his early career in the leisure industry with Sunquest Vacations and Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort & Spa.   

Financial Career: Michael decided to pursue a career in financial services and obtained his Series 7 stockbroking license with the NASD (now FINRA) in the United States.   He then became licensed with the Bahamian Securities Commission and maintains his licences annualy.

He began as a Trader working for two international investment companies in their Bahamian offices for the first three years.  He then moved to a Swiss-based investment company, which holds various securities and investment licenses in Nassau, Geneva Private Portfolio Management Ltd, where he has functioned as Trader and Assistant Portfolio Manager over the past eight years. The company manages large private client portfolios across a wide range of asset classes and currencies.

Academic: Michael was educated in the Bahamas but completed his university education in Canada obtaining a BA in Psychology from Carleton University in Ottawa.  He has attended several investment and compliance courses keeping current with his securities and regulatory licensing requirements.
